Tomato – Hybrid ( हाइब्रिड टमाटर )

Pusa Ruby is a hybrid cultivar of tomatoes developed at IARI, New Delhi. It is an early growing variety with an average yield of 28-30 tonnes per hectare. The plants are indeterminate, spreading, less branched, hardy with a height of 80-85 cm. The fruits are flattish-round, small to medium-sized, uniform red, slightly lobed, and mildly acidic. The fruits have a yellow stem end, are slightly furrowed, and have uniform ripening. The fruits are suitable for both table and industrial purposes.

पूसा रूबी IARI, नई दिल्ली में विकसित टमाटर की एक संकर किस्म है। यह शीघ्र बढ़ने वाली किस्म है जिसकी औसत उपज 28-30 टन प्रति हेक्टेयर है। पौधे अनिश्चित, फैलने वाले, कम शाखाओं वाले, 80-85 सेमी की ऊंचाई वाले कठोर होते हैं। फल चपटे-गोल, छोटे से मध्यम आकार के, एक समान लाल, थोड़े लोबदार और हल्के अम्लीय होते हैं। फलों के तने का सिरा पीला होता है, वे थोड़े झुर्रीदार होते हैं और एक समान पकने वाले होते हैं। फल टेबल और औद्योगिक दोनों उद्देश्यों के लिए उपयुक्त हैं।
